Storfoss' Naming Ceremony

The Naming Ceremony of M/V Storfoss, 11th of November 2006.

The naming ceremony of Eimskip’s second new building reefer vessel was held in Aalesund, Norway, November 11th where the vessel was named Storfoss in accordance to Eimskip’s tradition of naming all its vessels after fosses. Lara Konradsdottir, logistics director of Eimskip-CTG AS, is the vessel's godmother.

At the same time, Eimskip-CTG presented a new and improved sailing schedule from Norway to the UK and the Nederland, offering a transportation system with the fastest vessels and fastest loading and discharging services as well as increased capacity on the route. The new sailing schedule enables Eimskip-CTG to offer regular container solution from the northern part of Norway to UK and the Nederland. It will offer its customers new door-to-door solution as well as the option of distributing their cargo through Eimskip’s group system worldwide.
